Writing Exercise: Misplaced Emotion
The challenge: Write a scene in which a character releases pent-up emotions at the wrong place, or the wrong time, or directed at the wrong person. Or all of the above; that'd be lively.
(And yes, I am poking fun at myself, just a little...)
